The Adventure Playground is now closed for the winter season. During this period we are developing a plan for an exciting refurbishment for the future. We are looking to replace and remodel the playground to improve the quality, safety, and overall experience for our visitors, creating a space that children can enjoy for years to come. Play equipment and associated materials are extremely costly, and we would be incredibly grateful for any support. Donations of time, material resources, or funds will directly help bring this project to life. We also welcome support from local businesses through volunteering opportunities or sponsorship. Every contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. If you’re able to help in any way, we would love to hear from you. The outdoor playground is designed to harmonise three different areas of free style, sensory and adventure play, set beside a natural woodland which enhances the whole experience.
Bursting to the seams with things to swing on, climb up, balance on, crawl through and zip down not to mention the water pump and sandpit area with various hand crafted timber characters and animals, this awesome playground will keep the kids entertained for hours. Surrounded by nature it is the perfect place to visit.
The Playground is bookable in sessions with the first of the day always being SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) exclusive.
The SEND exclusive session is 9.00 - 11.00 everyday of operation and walk in access is managed via the SEND Pavilion office.
The Adventure Playground then continues into sessions for the general public, these can be booked here.
